Lindsey's Bridal Shower

Image
As soon as we got back from Hawaii we helped Olivia get the bridal shower going. Bel was so sweet to help out and buy things for the shower for Olivia. Olivia made the theme in true Lindsey form - a beach theme.  She was adorned with a cute dainty seashell crown and "Bride" sash. Paired with her white bride's dress that she plans to wear after the reception and she looks like she's about to walk down the aisle at a beach wedding. She's just glowing! Olivia is such a good maid of honor. My girls are so cute together. Such a good friendship. I love their relationship.  We had a lot of friends and family come to celebrate Lindsey.  Macy, Lindsey, Marci, Dawn Carissa and Janie Amy, Taja, Kindra, and Grandma Morales Elizabeth and Lori Janie Elizabeth and Penny Suzie, Elena, and Bel She got some great gifts.  Lindsey and Grandma Marcia Hard to believe in a month Lindsey will be married! I've enjoyed sharing the excitement with her. Getting things ready and planning....

The Last Day

Image
The last day in Hawaii. We had such a good time. It was nice that no one had to rush out to the airport early in the morning. We had most of the day. After checking out of the house we were able to do some shopping at street shops and still hang out together.  It was a wonderful trip and I hope Olivia felt loved and understands that this trip wouldn't have happened without her. She chose a great place for her senior trip and everyone wanted to celebrate with her. So what started as a Senior Trip turned in to a Morales Family Reunion and we couldn't have been more happy about it. Until next time Hawaii <3

Down Time, Fun Time, Beach Time

You can never spend too much time at the beach in Hawaii.  Everyone had so much fun being out swimming and laying on the sand.  When it was time to be at the house to make meals there was time to get in the pool.  We spent the evenings talking and laughing so hard.  Olivia was sitting in between Grandma Morales and Aunt Bel and they were laughing about silly things they do when they're so clumsy. I told Olivia...Bel is you in 20 years and Grandma is you in 40 years. Everyone busted up laughing. The funny part is... Olivia could see it too! haha Grandpa took on Tyler at foosball.  I love trips like this. Where we have some activities and places planned to go, but then also have enough time to relax and have some free time. It's these times that we laugh the hardest.

Laie Hawaii Temple

Image
We went to the temple with the kids this morning.  I like giving them the opportunity to do temple work in other temples. Seeing the beauty of the temples in different areas but also seeing the work is the same.  The visitor's center was closed so we just spent some time walking the grounds.  My little Hawaiian girl.  Temples are so beautiful. The grounds are always so peaceful to walk on.  After going to the temple we stopped to see Aunt Mel so Jaime could help her with her computer. She's being living here this past year with her son Jon helping to take care of his 8 kids during the divorce. Mel is a saint! It was good to lift her spirits and give her some time to talk with Jaime and I while our kids went and played with Jon's kids. And Jaime is always an angel helping with computer and tech issues. I know Aunt Mel was so grateful for his help.

Polynesian Cultural Center

We drove by the Chinaman's Hat island on our way to the PCC.  I was so excited to bring my family here! We loved going from Island to Island learning about the different cultures on Tonga, Fiji, Tahiti, Samoa, and so many other islands.  Tattoos from Fiji for everyone! feeding the fish We went for a boat ride from Fiji down to Samoa.  The kids made fish from leaves on Samoa. I loved being here with all my kids! My girls! Bel and Chris are so sweet to take our kids on their senior trips.  They have such a unique relationship with all our kids.  Olivia and Liandrew. One of Olivia's Hawaii Bucket List items was to get a drink out of a coconut. Check! We went to the Luau for dinner.  We spent the entire day here. Shopping and the stores and food trucks before the center opened and then going from island to island learning fun facts and seeing great shows performed. The day went so fast because there's so much to see and do. Fun games and activities. We ended th...
