The Dinner

After pictures we headed to the venue where they had begun serving drinks and had snacks bowls on tables while guests waited for the us and the bride and groom to get there after the picture session was done. We were blessed with a beautiful day so the outside patio and green yard were perfect for the kids to be out and play and guests could sit on the patio furniture with their drinks. I felt like it was just perfect!

Chaz's Jeep is too high up for Olivia to step up into with her wedding dress on so he lifted her into it and out of it when they got to the venue.

It's not their home threshold but at least I know he will take care of her.

When you first walk in to the venue this is what you saw! The neon sign was a surprise for Olivia and Chaz. Well, Olivia mostly because when she showed me her inspiration photos of things she wanted for her wedding, the archway she wanted had a neon sign. She said she wanted that...well except that "I know we can't do the sign. But I like the flowers." So you bet I made it happen! It was also a fun gift that they could have and take to their home after the reception was all done.

The guest sing in and gift table.

The gift/guest book table turned out so good.

The happy couple! They got their food first from the taco buffet and then everyone else was able to go get their plates filled. We had a wonderful spread of green Chile chicken, al pastor pork, and birria beef tacos with lots of good toppings, crispy corn salad, salsas, guacamole, and fresh fruits. The chef even plated up a massive plate of food for Elise due to her allergies.

The wedding party

Aww my babies...I mean...The matron of honor and bride. Enjoying those tacos. Look at those adorable chipmunk cheeks. 😁

After the dinner Christy went in to assemble the wedding cake!

They are officially "The Hansens"

So pretty! I love how everything came together.

Olivia with her aunts and uncles. They have special places in her heart as well as she in their hearts.

It's been so fun getting to know Chaz's parents and planning with Sheila.

We had yard games out on the lawn and they were hit with all the kids. We were so grateful the weather was a beautiful warm day without the crazy winds we'd had recently. It made it enjoyable for guests to be on the patio or play in the yard.

Back inside...

The centerpieces turned out lovely.

The churro bar is up and ready for hot churros and dipping sauces!

Cocktail table centerpieces.

I was glad these two had some time to sit together in between the dinner and reception.

The cake turned out beautifully!

Dessert table is set! Chocolate Dubai and vanilla creme filled cupcakes, mints, strawberry yogurt covered pretzels, chocolate covered raisins, chocolate Dubai pistachios, as well as raspberry lemon, Dubai chocolate, and coconut mango macarons. It was delicious!

I liked seeing them steal moments alone together.

Olivia is changed back into her wedding dress and they're ready for the reception.
