The Open House
The wedding celebrating has begun!
The wedding announcement and invitation.
Chaz and Olivia ready for the open house!
Sheila did a great job on fun little details. These bottles of hot sauce were so fun.
"Chaz & Olivia one hot couple"
Wintergreen mints with tags that said "Olivia and Chaz Mint to be."
The charcuterie board was no board but her entire kitchen island!
It was beautiful and amazing. So many meats, cheeses, crackers, fruits (fresh and dried), candies, jams, nuts, olives.
Christy made the desserts. Raspberry mousse domes; raspberry lemon, chocolate, and strawberry macarons. Another lady made the mini bunt cakes. Everything was beautiful and tasted so good. They both did a great job in making these desserts.
Italian soda bars are always a hit.
Cousins getting together! Aidan, Makaela, Elise and Ezra.
Liandrew on the trampoline with some of Chaz's nephews.
The back yard was set up beautifully.
We felt so grateful for the support of family who made it to the open house. Darin and Christy's family, Marcus and Aide's family, Brian and some of his kids, Mom and Dad,
Valeria (Aide's sister) Bel, Diana and Marty.
The entryway where they greeted their guests.
Olivia was just too cute. Can't believe she's already found who she wants to spend eternity with. I really did think she'd take longer just because she didn't feel she was ready to marry. If you'd asked her last year if she thought she'd be married in a year she would have said no way.
The open house was lovely. We had good weather, it was windy but it finally died down later. Guests left taking desserts and charcuterie snacks by the platefuls. After everyone was gone Jaime and I helped clean up. My favorite part was gathering the last of the charcuterie foods and placing everything in ziplock bags. It gave us time to visit with Chaz's sisters and parents. We laughed as we kept circling the island gathering all the same kinds of meats, cheeses, fruits together into separate bags. As well as everyone popping something in to their mouth as they enjoyed bites of food. Olivia is marrying in to a wonderful family who will love her well. I feel so grateful for this.
