First Full Day at Bear Lake

Bear Lake is beautiful. It's very shallow a long way out. The kids go out to play in the water and still not be close to being in deep water. We were blessed with sunshine and warm temperatures.

The water was shallow enough that adults could sit in the sand and watch and know kids were ok. 

Lindsey developed a hobby. She enjoyed using the paddle board her grandpa rented. There were paddle boards, canoes, a water trampoline, and boat that were rented. Lots of fun activities. 

After a long day at the beach everyone looks like this. Sitting and being vegetables, trying to recover from all the excitement and exhaustion from being in the sun.

 And while all this fun has been happening Bel underwent another surgery to have her expanders put in. I felt so bad I wasn't there for her. I cried when I was told she cried that I wouldn't be there for her. She's amazingly strong and did just fine, as always. :) She came out of her anesthesia like a champ and was doing so well that she got to go home tonight! What a relief. 

She was feeling so good she asked for some candy. She loves her dulces. :D
