Jaime's Birthday

 We celebrated Jaime's birthday with friends. We went to dinner with Sarah and Brandon...Brandon's birthday is just before Jaime's, the 19th. We celebrated both guy's birthdays by going out to eat at Lu Lu Craftbar and Kitchen. Dinner was good and I loved visiting with Sarah and Brandon. 


After dinner we went to Amy and Bryan's house to celebrate. Amy and Jaime both share December 21st as their birthdays. We enjoyed playing games with friends and having dessert.

Happy birthday Jaime! We would not be where we are without you. 
He does so well in whatever he puts his mind to doing. I love his confidence in his job. He truly does put students and staff first. He feels like everything they do should be to help and educate the students. I love him so much. He makes 42 look good. 

This year for his gift I went with an automotive theme. I got him cup holder extenders for his truck so that he can fit his Hydroflask in a cup holder and it won't roll around the floor. He was pretty excited about it. I also got him a membership to a car wash so he can wash his truck every month any number of times he chooses. I'm glad he was happy with it. :)

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then.
