Our Anniversary

On Saturday, December 27th Jaime and I celebrated 12 years of marriage. Yes, celebrated. I'm still so excited I married him! It really doesn't seem like it's been 12 years. Time does fly when you're having fun. I know you hear that marriage takes work. Maybe it does, but being married to Jaime doesn't seem like work. It seems easy. We don't fight or argue. If feelings are hurt it's generally because I misunderstood and I'm being a baby. I can honestly say that he'd do anything for me. We are on the same page with major issues like parenting, spending, etc. He's my match!
This year the kids stayed the night with Grandma and Grandpa Morales. Jaime and I got to spend some one on one time. We do the usual, out to dinner, shopping, see a movie and just enjoy being together. I never get tired of spending time with him. He's truly my best friend. 



He's an awesome father who gets down on the floor and plays with our kids. He's great with kids at everything!

And he's always been good at taking time for me. Even making time for us alone and sending kids off to have fun with grandparents :) I love him, I love him! I can't imagine my life without him. Don't want to either! I'm grateful to be married to him for eternity.

Yes, this is true. And yes....this will be our newest addition to the family. You think you're surprised! Just imagine how surprised I was! Big time let me tell you. And in case you are wondering, I am just starting my first week of month number five. Yes, I am in my second trimester already. Hard to believe it's really gone that fast. I haven't been sick at all. It's been very nice. I could easily not know that I was pregnant because I don't feel like I am. This explains why I haven't been sick. It's a boy. I wasn't sick with Aidan either. For Unto Us A Child Is Born

On Wednesday December 16th I went to the hospital at 7 a.m. to start my induction. I was already dialated to a 3 and dr. said if I wanted to have the baby I could. I didn't want to be in the hospital or recovering too close to Christmas with my entire family home for the season so I said sure! I was finally underway at 8 a.m. with pitocin. The rest of the morning and afternoon was spent in boredom and watching tv with Jaime at my side. At around 12:45 the dr. came to break my water because that usually gets things going quick. My kids have all arrived shortly after the water breaks. However, since the baby's head kind of floated up he decided to wait a bit to not risk the umbilical cord coming out first or wringing around the baby's neck. Bummer! I was so disappointed. So, on to more waiting, turning up the pitocin...again. Finally at 3:30 p.m. I was having some strong contractions and dialated 5-6. The Past Week...

This past week has been a pretty laid back one. I've been getting things done on my own schedule...whenever I feel like it. Haha! Took the boys to the library, I've been making time (a.k.a. not working) to read a book for my own enjoyment, planted some flowers, made a few trips to the park with the kids, done a bit of shopping (grocery shopping at Winco is a lot of work with just me and the boys and I really have to gear up for it.), and I have been playing Sorry and Hi Ho Cherry O with Aidan quite a bit. So I have been busy just not with the normal stuff that keeps me busy on a daily basis.  I love browsing Costco with Jaime and my kids in the evening of a week day. It's not very crowded then. If there's a fun movie on the TVs we like to stop and watch a little. We stopped to watch a bit of the Avenger's in 3D...hence Aidan's glasses. :) I spent a day at Mom's with the boys.
